Aw! These are so much fun, Kellie. :) Glad you have continued doing them - and this is week 5 already!? Where does the time go.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I'm glad you like them, Rissi! And I thought the same thing when I typed in Week 5!!
DeleteYeah! Another rain walker, I hate mincing through the rain and just so just hold my chin up and saunter along! =)
ReplyDeleteI used to be able to read in the car then car sickness entered my life.....ones of the sadest days of my life!!! Though ginger pills really help!
Do those secret food stashes include Poptarts by any chance? Both fantastically perfect things by the way!
Hehe, yes, Katysue? How'd you guess? *wink* Poptarts are currently residing in my food pantry, waiting for just the right moment.
DeleteI always want to laugh at other people who freak out over a little bit of rain! I love rain, water dries...I've never felt any need to complain over it!
Ginger pills?? I've never heard of those before! I used to be able to read in the car, like you, but then somewhere in early teens, that super power evaporated and now I can hardly read a text message without feel queasy!
Oh, and I tried adding your button to my blog and it wasn't working. It may very well be something I'm doing, but just in case there was a bug I thought I'd mention it!
ReplyDeleteOh! Thank you for letting me know!! I'll check on it! And gee, thanks by the way...for wanting to put it up there! Which one, by the way, wasn't working?
DeleteThe one on the main page right above your followers. I didn't know about the page of buttons you have (well, I obviously know now! You asking me which button prompted a closer look for more then the one here on the main page!) I think I'll try one of those! =)
DeleteThanks, KatySue! I was able to {after much aggravation} get it fixed! Thanks for bringing it to my attention! :D
DeleteYour belief in "never, ever, ever reading in the car" gets a strong amen from me. I've always bemoaned the fact that I get carsick while reading, because car trips are the PERFECT time to dig into a pile of books! Audio books are a great alternative, but still... I feel unfairly cursed. :D And good 'ol Scotty saving you from a street gang?! That sounds epic.
ReplyDeleteHehe, Taylor...that one was one dream I could have staid in a little bit longer!! :D
DeleteI always hate the times when you just get new books from the library and you can't wait to read them and you get so excited, you read them on the way home. Then you regret because you get a headache...ugh!
ReplyDeleteI died laughing about Scotty McCreery. But hey, if anyone was going to save you, why not him?? ;)
That IS such a sad thing! I remember being able to read in the car and always had big stack of books with me...but I fear those days are forever and ever far behind me!
DeleteHehe, yes, why not? I wouldn't mind if that dream became one of those weird repeating dreams. ;)
I know what ya mean, Kellie! :)
Delete*wink*
DeleteThrift store shopping sounds like a great way to spend your Saturday--I hope you and your sister have fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally agree with you about reading in the car. I can't even open a book while in the car (that car doesn't even have to be moving!) for me to worry about getting carsick. :)
I also love that you play guitar. I'd love to learn someday and I already have short fingernails after spending seven or so years playing viola. I'm thinking you should teach me, girl!
Thrifting was great this morning! We got here soon after it opened so it was a lot of people! I got a few new shirts and some other treasures. :)
DeleteKiki, I would LOVE to impart what little knowledge I have of guitar playing to you...if only you lived closer! *sniff sniff* I've played for eek...like 8 years, but I never learned notes, just chords. I'm not very good at playing along with other people, because I taught myself and only ever played by myself, so I'm terrible at "jiving" with other people's instruments! I need to pull it out more and practice more! I bet you must be pretty amazing at the viola, if you've been playing it for so long!
I always like to think I'm full of adventures and "going out." But really I'd rather just cozy up at home with the tv and some junk food. Especially if they're Doritos. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what's sadly true about me, too! But I find all kinds of adventures in a bag of Doriots! ;)
DeleteCardigans all year long, yes yes yes! Oh and I pretty much always have crazy dreams.
ReplyDeleteI always feel slightly...skimpy...without a cardigan, since I wear them all the time! :D
