  2. Yard sales, thrift stores, consignment shops are our best friends :) And yes, you and me both need to learn to use the crock pot. I have a really nice one, I just hardly use it. Although I recently made a delicious Chicken Taco Soup in mine and it turned out wonderfully! And it's SO easy. If you want the recipe let me know.
Oh and don't worry, when Jonathan is working the night shift I still get scared at some point every time. Being alone at night is NOT fun. At all. And it doesn't help that Sadie can be jumpy at times and barks for no reason....ha!

    1. I always say that thrift stores are therapeutic for me! Seriously, about 90% of my clothes come from thrifts stores! Any recipes that don't have veggies (other than potato, broccoli, cauliflower , green beans and corn) are most appreciated! I need to get creative or I know I'll start living off of canned tomato soup and ramen noodles.

I actually haven't been scared at night yet, which is miraculous. Although I woke up in the middle of the night last night and randomly imagined this huge grotesquely malformed hunched over creature snuffling and sniffing it's way across the floor towards me...but I quickly stopped the image before it came too close and decided that no such thoughts will ever be entertained in my new room. ;D But at least I'm not in the house alone! My roomies are there, although in different rooms, of course!

  3. Aw, love this idea for a post! It's such a cute way to share more about yourself. May or may not steal this idea sometime ;) Pretty sure I agree with so many of these things– Disney princesses, Sonic, Life cereal, driving with the windows down, and soda and popcorn at the movies. All the little things that just make life sweeter :)

  4. Yeah for taking the long way to avoid traffic! I've done that often. I'd much prefer driving for an amount of time over sitting still or only inching forward for the same amount of time. When I'm driving it, the time just seems shorter. Even when it's really not! :)

I believe in pet rats. (No, I don't have one. But I think they're adorable!)

    1. Eeek? Pet rats? Gral, I don't know...seems questionable to me!! Although the only pet rat that I've been exposed to was a hairless rat...and it was hideous!

    1. It's definitely my beverage and snack of choice! I find the movie theater to be therapeutic! As long, of course, as the movie is one worth seeing! :D
