Tuesday ~ Starbucks Tuesday Link-Up

Good morning, my fine friends! Would you not agree with me that today is a "listen to Disney music" kind of day? Well, whether or not you're embracing your inner princess today, I'm sitting in my finally-getting-toasty office with the magical strains of Disney songs floating out of my small speakers. There's just something about classic-style Disney songs that bring out the best in me. :)

Know what else brings out the best in me?? Discovering a new beverage at Starbucks! I decided I wanted to start the year off branching out from my usual stand-by's, so after browsing the online Starbucks drink menu (a fantastic resource, if like me, you find yourself completely overwhelmed when trying to order at the counter from the wall menu!) I settled on this one:

Oh honey, let me tell ya!! This is good. This is what I imaged Chai to taste like several months back when I tried to make my own with such disastrous results. Without even a hint of coffee taste, (I don't even know if it has coffee in it, actually) this drink is like a combination of pumpkin spice (without the pumpkin), eggnog latte, and white hot cocoa. So tasty!!

Frothy, warm, spicy....exactly what I imagined it to be! Slightly less hard-core than a full-blown coffee, but that's more my style anyway!

So!
Turn up your Disney tunes and join me for Starbucks Tuesday!

Here's how:
1. Post about any beverage (doesn't have to be from Starbucks! Even homemade is welcome!) that you have had recently (it doesn't have to have been drank today to be part of Starbucks Tuesday!).
2. Include a picture or two if you can! Phone pictures not only accepted but almost expected. *grin*
3. I’d be delighted if you’d include the “Starbucks Tuesday Link-up” picture seen above, but it is by far not required to join me!
4. Once you’ve posted your drink, hop back on over here to my blog. See the little “Simply Linked” gizmo down on the bottom of this post? Fill that baby out!
5. Hit “submit” and watch me jump up and wave as I see you walk through the door!

  2. Aside from a chai tea that I drink on the Keurig, I don't think I've ever gotten anything like this...
