Tuesday ~ Starbucks Tuesday

Good morning, friends and fellow Earthlings!
Today is a good day! Why is it a good day, you ask?

I have no idea.

It just feels like a good kind of day! The heaters is up in my office, got me some tunes playing in the background, a big stack of work on my desk to tackle and tomorrow is my off day, so today just has a good "feel" about it! From wherever your vantage point is today, I hope your day is looking up and positive today, too!

Another plus to this lovely Tuesday morn is my coffee sitting on my desk next to my computer keyboard...or more appropriately, the empty cup where my coffee originally was. It's empty so soon because...well, I'm getting ahead of myself. Today, upon the suggestion of a co-worker and friend, I tried the:

For those of you who are hopelessly coffee illiterate like me (I had to google it!), "breve" (pronounced brev-uh) means it uses half & half or pure cream instead of milk. Yes, let's all take a moment to NOT count calories.

My first sip reminded me that coffee isn't my favorite flavor in the world, but it was diminutive enough that I kept on drinking and was thus rewarded for my perseverance! Beyond the first sip, it turned into everything I imagined a cream-flavored drink should! While still maintaining an enjoyable dose of coffee flavor, the taste was equally shared by a delicious creamy delightfullness that truly was the stuff creamy-dreams are made of!

I think I've found another favorite here!

So there's the skinny on this morning's very non-skinny Starbucks adventure! Does anybody have any Starbucks drink recommendations for me? I'm slowly working my way through the obvious ones on the menu board and I think I need a little more adventure in my Tuesday mornings!

Well, I'm off to eat my oatmeal before the coffee begins to wreak havoc on my empty stomach! Truly, truly have a marvelous day, my friends and please take a few moments to thank God for a blessing today!

  3. Hello! I just discovered your blog and immediately fell in love. I'm a single Christian gal myself, attempting to seek God's plan for my life. ^_^

I absolutely adore your photography. These pictures are magnificent! And your blog is so fun!

Anyways, just wanted to say hello. I might have to try this kind of coffee. I'm not a big coffee drinker myself I fear.

  4. Sounds YUMMY! =D
Try a Strawberries & Creme frappe with a pump of toffee nut crunch or hazelnut syrup. Sooooo good! Tastes like Captain Crunch cereal! <3

  7. Our mutual friend (the lovely Anna) told me about another variation of the Caramel Macchiato. When you order it, ask for it to be 'upside down', I believe it means they just mix the drink up better and it blends the coffee flavor better :)
